FCBARCELONA PHOTO AWARDS
Foto Colectania collaborates with the Futbol Club Barcelona in the organization of the first edition of the FCBarcelona Photo Awards.
An initiative that aims to support professionals of various fields, artists, photojournalists, as well as documentary photographers. The theme of the Awards revolves around images that transmit universal values of sport and their positive impact on society.
The FCBarcelona Photo Awards consist of two categories, the Photo Award, that rewards a single image, and the Project Award, which is a production grant to a photo story.
Both categories are backed by a jury of extraordinary prestige, consisting of:
Photo Award: Vicente Todolí (President), Sandra Phillips and Azu Nwagbogu.
Project Award: Ayperi Karabuda Ecer (President), Stephen Mayes and Alex Webb.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY FOUNDATION
The Foto Colectania Foundation is a private non-profit organization (reg. no. 1554) founded in Barcelona in 2002 within the aim to promote Photography and Collecting through exhibitions, activities (conferences, seminars, cultural trips) and catalogs.
Foto Colectania has a main photography collection that includes more than 3,000 works by Spanish and Portuguese photographers from 1950 to the present. It also has a library of free access and a conservation camera where photographic archives are being kept, such as the Paco Gómez's Archive (donated by the family of photgrapher Francisco Gómez in 2001).
The Foundation is financed by sponsors, its "Friends and Partners" and external collaborations.
