THE PHOTOGRAPHY FOUNDATION

The Foto Colectania Foundation is a private non-profit organization (reg. no. 1554) founded in Barcelona in 2002 within the aim to promote Photography and Collecting through exhibitions, activities (conferences, seminars, cultural trips) and catalogs.

Foto Colectania has a main photography collection that includes more than 3,000 works by Spanish and Portuguese photographers from 1950 to the present. It also has a library of free access and a conservation camera where photographic archives are being kept, such as the Paco Gómez's Archive (donated by the family of photgrapher Francisco Gómez in 2001).

The Foundation is financed by sponsors, its "Friends and Partners" and external collaborations.
